new for shipping companies per july 7

Why it matters

Start an announcement yourself. Choose a terminal and a vessel, and a prefilled pre-arrival form opens, ready to submit the Notice of Readiness. This is for inland visits only.

When you start an announcement, you automatically become the main shipping company account for that dossier; you are not named as a separate "managing" company.

Your own vessel details. Keep your own set of master data per vessel, so prefilled forms match the way you work.

Be a full participant in the dossier. When you start a dossier you are a direct participant and receive the relevant communication directly, instead of everything being routed through the vessel.

Full visibility of the event log. See the same dossier event log as the vessel, so you can follow the status of every announcement.

Shipping companies can upload and request documents, but cannot convert a document for digital signing and cannot send a signing request.

New announcement

What to do?

A new button appears for you to start the pre-arrival process on behalf of the vessel.
select the vessel

Find and add inland vessels easily. Pick from "My Vessels" or search across all vessels; a vessel you use is added to your fleet automatically.

Fleets build themselves: a vessel becomes part of your fleet automatically when you select it.

You will then be able to complete, finalise and send in the pre-arrival on behalf of the vessel.

What's new for vessels

On any announcement form you can add one or more shipping companies for the visit. If a company is not listed yet, choose "Other" and fill in the name of a shipping company that does not yet exist in UAB. At least one shipping company is required.
