Special and/or Sensitive Personal Data We Process

Our website and/or services are not intended for collecting data about visitors under the age of 16, unless parental or guardian consent is provided. However, we cannot verify the age of our visitors. Therefore, we advise parents to be involved in their children's online activities to prevent data collection without parental consent. If you believe we have collected personal information about a minor without such consent, please contact us at privacy@uab-online.com, and we will delete the information.

Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing Personal Data

UAB-Online processes your personal data based on consent, the performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests. The data is processed for the following purposes:

Processing your payments
Sending newsletters and/or other marketing materials
Conducting marketing and acquisition activities
Contacting you by phone or email as necessary to provide our services
Informing you about changes to our services and products
Offering you the option to create an account
Delivering goods and services to you
Screening (potential) customers and employees via social media
Assessing job applications and communicating with candidates, as explained in the Job Applications section below
Analysing your behaviour on our website to improve our services and tailor our product offerings to your preferences. To measure business use of our website, we use the Leadinfo service from Capelle aan den IJssel, Netherlands. This service shows us company names and addresses based on the IP addresses of our visitors. The IP address itself is not included here.
Processing personal data when required by law, such as for tax filings.

Job Applications

When you apply for a position at UAB-Online, we receive your personal data, such as your name, contact details, CV and motivation letter. Our recruitment process usually includes personality and/or cognitive assessments, about which we inform you in advance.

We store your application data securely in an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and delete them within four weeks after the recruitment process ends if you are not hired. With your separate consent, we may retain them for future vacancies for up to twelve months after the process ends. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the request page linked in your application confirmation email. We do not share your data with third parties for their own commercial purposes. Only parties supporting our recruitment process may have access where necessary, and we require them to handle your data carefully and comply with applicable data protection rules.

Automated Decision-Making

UAB-Online does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that could have significant consequences for individuals. All decisions that could affect you are made with human involvement.

Sharing Personal Data with Third Parties

UAB-Online does not sell your data to third parties. We only share your data where necessary to perform our agreement with you, to comply with legal obligations or to support the recruitment purposes described above. Where service providers process personal data on our behalf, we require appropriate arrangements to protect your data.

Viewing, Modifying, or Deleting Data

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Additionally, you have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by UAB-Online. You also have the right to data portability, meaning you can request that we send your data in a computer file to you or another organisation specified by you.

To submit a request for access, correction, deletion, or data transfer of your personal data, or to request withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data, please contact us at privacy@uab-online.com. To ensure that the request for access was made by you, we will ask you some verification questions. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, and no later than four weeks.

UAB-Online also informs you that you have the right to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

How We Store and Secure Personal Data

We do not retain your personal data for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which they are processed, unless a longer retention period is required by law. The specific retention periods for job application data are set out in the Job Applications section above.

UAB-Online takes the protection of your data seriously and implements appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorised modification.
